The Aurelon PhotoPro PhotoTools is a set of post
photographic tools neatly packed into one Photoshop plug-in. Directly
aimed at the Photoshop professional seeking an easy to use solution with
all important tools directly available from one interface. It consists
of 5 components that work independently as well as in combination with
the other plug-in components. Biggest advantage is the versatile preview
pane and the variations pane; a single click guides the user to the
results wanted.

The Unsharp Mask component is used for making
images look more crisp or for adding special sharpening effects. The
filter identifies color differences and offers controls for changing
sharpness based on these differences. With easy to use sliders and
numerical fields, one can precisely define contour size, sensitivity,
amplification and contour response. In addition to these controls,
Aurelon added color response sliders that enable selective sharpening
based on luminance.

All different blur possibilities in one easy to use
interface, with full preview. That is what the Advanced Blur
component offers. Built on an enhanced algorithm, this PhotoTools
component adds 4 commonly used blur styles: Gaussian, Motion, Smart and
Radial blur.

The Reduce Noise component not only offers
luminance based reduction of digital noise, it also offers chromatic
noise reduction (red and blue). Easy to use sliders and numerical fields
enable quick and accurate correction of images. The biggest advantage is
the combination of chromatic and luminosity correction with the 3-way
tonal sensitivity sliders (light, mid, dark). It makes the PhotoPro
Reduce Noise component the most effective tool for dealing with jpeg
artifacts and digital image noise such as grains, screens and color
banding effects.

Aurelon has combined 3 popular 'focus' filters into
one component. The X-Focus component includes a soft focus, a vari focus
and a depth of focus tool. The soft focus tool lets you create a
conventional photographic effect simulating an analog lens. With the
mist slider it's easy enough to add that romantic glow commonly seen in
old photographs. In combination with a feathered selection area it's
only a few clicks to get the soft focus effect one is aiming at. The
vari focus tool not only lets you defocus an image, it also adds a
sharpening effect using very small, accurate steps. The instant preview
of the effect and the comparison to the original image makes it a very
easy to use solution. Last, but not least, is the depth of focus tool.
It enables adding a depth of focus effect which is normally created
during shooting an image. This tool simulates a shallower DOF and brings
perception of depth after the image is captured.

The Color Cast component is actually a simulation
of a graduated filter. Such filters are used in traditional photography
to add a blend of color to a captured scene. Quite often there's a
difference between the desired exposure of the main object and the
background or foreground. A 'grad' filter adds a color cast on part of
the image to compensate for overexposure. Some grad filters have a tint
such as 'tobacco' and are used for emphasizing sunset effects. Others
may have more unnatural colors - pink or blue or green - for specific
types of effects. Some even have tints of two kinds - they go from red
to blue, for example. The Aurelon PhotoPro Color Cast component
simulates this kind of photo correction. It combines two filters,
switched on or off at will, and lets you select the desired color, angle
and 'gradient' with maximum density, minimum density and a highlight
value.
